The grounds of The British School, New Delhi came alive with roaring cheers, flying cricket balls, and unforgettable moments as it hosted the ISACI Cricket 2025 — an Under-17 Boys tournament featuring four dynamic teams: Panthers Black, Panthers Red (home teams), MIS Eagles from Pune, and ISH Vipers from Hyderabad. The two-day event (March 21–22) witnessed fierce competition in a league-cum-knockout format, with the top two teams — Panthers Black and MIS Eagles — advancing to a grand finale that will be remembered for years.
From the opening match to the final ball of the tournament, ISACI 2025 proved to be a celebration of young athletic excellence, grit, and true sportsmanship. The tournament was not just about statistics; it was about moments that sparked belief and defined futures.
The Grand Finale: A Match for the Ages

In the most dramatic finish imaginable, Panthers Black chased down a massive target of 202 with ice-cold nerves, sheer brilliance, and an innings that redefined pressure-hitting. The MIS Eagles had posted a commanding total of 201/5 in 12 overs, thanks to a blistering 95 off 28 balls by Kaivalya Barate, who also picked up 3 wickets with the ball.
But little did anyone expect what was coming.

With 25 runs needed from the final over, most thought the game was all but over. The Eagles could almost feel the championship in their hands.
But Riddhiman Grandhi, standing tall at the crease, had other plans:
