We have yet another success story for our Under 11 Panthers…
As the rest of the school was enjoying the Diwali celebrations on Friday 25 October our Under 11 boys’ football teams returned to GD Goenka World School to battle for a place in the finals of the ISSO Championships 2024.
In the football, TBS secured a place in the final after coming back from a goal behind to win their semi-final against Scottish High International School 2 – 1. In an exhilarating final TBS Panthers unfortunately conceded a goal in the final minutes against Jayshree Periwal International School, Jaipur and finished the Championships as Runners Up.
A huge congratulations to the entire team who played their hearts out for three consecutive days (Ayan – captain, Samar, Suryansh, Louie, Yomato, Aarav, Karamvir, Aryan, Sikander, Ivaan, Jayaditya and Rajjver).
Samar was awarded the ‘Most Promising Player’.
