🎯 Our Mission

The Panthers Club at The British School, New Delhi is grounded in the values of Respect, Discipline, Effort, Sportsmanship, and Integrity.

🔹 Respect & Conduct

• Show respect to teammates, coaches, referees, and opponents.
• Never engage in bullying, exclusion, or cyberbullying.
• Use respectful language and actions at all times.

🔹 Effort & Commitment

• Attend practices and matches regularly and punctually.
• Inform coaches of absences in advance.
• Give your best effort at all times, win or lose.

🔹 Sportsmanship & Fair Play

• Follow game rules and respect officials’ decisions.
• Congratulate opponents; win with humility, lose with grace.

🔹 Digital Responsibility

• Refrain from sharing harmful content or private information.
• Use messaging apps (example- WhatsApp) /social media groups respectfully and only for team communication.

🎯 Parental Role

Parents are valued partners in promoting a positive and respectful sports culture for our student-athletes.

🔹 Role Modelling

• Encourage effort, improvement, and sportsmanship over winning.
• Refrain from coaching or shouting instructions during matches.
• Respect coaches, referees, and all players.

🔹 Communication & Feedback

• Follow the 24-hour rule before raising concerns after a match.
• Avoid direct confrontation with coaches during or immediately after events.
• Steps to raise concerns:
  • 📧 Email the team coach first to clarify the issue.
  • 📅 If unresolved, schedule a meeting with the Head of PE and Sports.
  • 📝 All meetings will be respectful and documented.

🔹 Social Media Etiquette

• Do not post photos/videos of other students without consent.
• Avoid online criticism of players, coaches, or officials.
• Use group chats and forums responsibly and respectfully.
