Delhi State Open Athletics Championships 2026

Panthers Perform with Power, Pride and Purpose

Personal bests, podium finishes, a school record and high-level state and national placings — this was a championship that showed the growing strength of Panthers Athletics.

Overview

Under the scorching Delhi sun and beneath stunning blue skies, our Panthers athletes stepped onto one of the most demanding athletics stages in the country — the Delhi State Open Athletics Championships 2026 at the iconic Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. From early morning starts to late afternoon finishes, the championships tested not only athletic ability, but also resilience, focus and the courage to compete among some of the very best young athletes from across India.

What made this campaign so impressive was the spirit in which it was delivered. Our Panthers team may have been small in number, but it was huge in character. Every athlete embraced the challenge, competed with intent and represented TBS with pride. Against fierce state and national competition, the team produced an outstanding 15 personal bests — a remarkable return that reflects preparation, belief and the willingness to perform under pressure.

The performances themselves were full of significance. Jaxon delivered a brilliant all-round triathlon display to finish 1st in Delhi and 7th in India. Aariana followed with a superb 3rd in Delhi and 8th in India, showing real quality across all three disciplines. Ford’s championships were highlighted by a new school record in the 600m, one of the standout achievements of the meet. Ila produced an excellent national finish of 7th in India in Long Jump and 9th in India in the 100m, while Sara’s updated results show a strong 4th in Delhi and 14th in India in Long Jump, alongside 9th in Delhi and 18th in India in the 60m. Across the squad, personal bests and high-level placings made one message very clear: Panthers Athletics is moving forward with real momentum.

A small Panthers squad, a massive athletics stage, and performances that carried real state and national significance.
