In a thrilling display of grit, composure, and spirited teamwork, the Red Panthers U11 team delivered a sensational victory over DPS Mathura Road in the grand final of the TBS Primary Cricket Festival. Held at The British School, New Delhi, this electrifying showdown was cheered on by a packed crowd of supporters — including proud parents, enthusiastic peers, and our esteemed Director, Vanita Uppal OBE.

Electing to bat first, the Red Panthers set the stage ablaze with an imposing total of 113/4 in 12 overs. The batting was spearheaded by Aneel, whose 45 runs off just 32 balls (including 2 sixes and 4 boundaries) earned him the title of Player of the Match. Aneel’s innings was a masterclass in confidence and timing, anchoring the team to a defendable target.

Backing him up was Vansh with a solid 26 runs, while Aryavardhan, the captain, led from the front — finishing not out and ensuring a strong finish for the side. Their combined efforts, supported by sharp running between the wickets and well-judged singles, proved pivotal.

The bowling unit then delivered under pressure, defending the total with discipline and flair. Jaiveer was the standout with 2 wickets for just 17 runs in his spell. Atish added to the pressure with his early breakthroughs, finishing with figures of 1/18.

The final score saw DPS Mathura Road restricted to 95/5, handing the Red Panthers a well-deserved 18-run victory and the coveted championship title. The cheers were deafening, the pride unmatched.
