Panthers deliver podium power in Gurugram

U9 • U11 • U17 Nationals Grand Finale Panthers Sprint Programme

Under finals-day pressure and a packed schedule across U9, U11 and U17, the Panthers turned discipline into medals. Jaxon struck gold in the 200m and added a bronze in the 100m, Zian sprinted to a silver in the 100m, and Veera sealed to clutch bronze in the 100m—a quartet of podiums that showcased speed, composure, and big-stage belief.

How the day unfolded

From warm-up strides to the final lean at the tape, the Panthers looked ready for a national stage. The sprints set the tone: starts were crisp, drive phases clean, and finishes fearless. Coaches praised the group’s race craft—settling into rhythm early, staying relaxed under noise, and finding an extra gear when it mattered.

Standout performances

Jaxon — 200m Gold; 100m Bronze

Measured early pace, decisive surge in the last 60m for the 200m title; gritty 100m podium capped a complete sprint day.

Zian — 100m Silver

Explosive from the blocks and ice-cool over the closing metres for a well-earned second place.

Veera — 100m Bronze

Calm in the set position, sharp through transition, relentless to the line for third.

This first-class return at a national finale validates the training blocks and raises the bar for what comes next. The athletes showed they can translate heats and semis into podium performances—evidence that routines, recovery, and race plans are landing. The message is clear: keep the standards high, sharpen the details, and stay brave in the biggest moments.
