Panthers Make Waves and Capture the Overall Championship Trophy
A powerful day in the pool, a wave of podium finishes and a proud championship moment for The British School, New Delhi. The Panthers swimming squad delivered a superb team performance at the Annual Goenkan Inter-School Swimming Meet 2026, competing with energy, discipline and confidence across the U8, U10, U12 and U15 categories.
From first-time swimmers stepping onto the competition stage to experienced Panthers recording personal best timings, this meet was a celebration of courage, growth and the competitive spirit that continues to define our Panthers community.
Championship Moment: Panthers Rise to the Top
The Panthers delivered a standout performance across age groups and events, showing depth, consistency and team strength throughout the meet. The result was a proud one for the TBS community: The British School, New Delhi won the Overall Championship Trophy.
The official event report records an outstanding overall total of 43 podium finishes, including 21 gold, 13 silver and 9 bronze medals. It was a powerful reminder that every race, every finish and every point contributed to the team’s collective success.
A Meet Full of Courage, Speed and First-Time Moments
This was not just a medal-winning performance; it was a complete team experience. Swimmers competed across freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly events, learning how to handle race pressure, call-room routines, recovery between races and the excitement of representing school in a competitive environment.
A special highlight was the participation of Year 3 and Year 4 swimmers, including Rubani, Kyra, Azaad, Rabmehr, Luca and Aoba, who competed in their first-ever meet with excitement and enthusiasm. Their confidence, smiles and willingness to race captured the spirit of what school sport is all about.
For many swimmers, this meet was an important step forward. It helped them understand race preparation, pacing, focus and the importance of staying ready for events across a busy competition schedule.

The event report highlighted personal best performances from Jaxon, Annika, Veera, Shima, Aveer and Vittoria. The attached results sheet also recorded PB performances across several individual events, showing how strongly the Panthers responded to the competitive atmosphere.
