Success on the basketball court is never simply about scoring more points. It is about understanding your role, trusting your teammates and maintaining composure when the game demands it.
On 22 August 2026, the TBS Panthers U14 Girls travelled to The Ardee School in New Friends Colony, New Delhi, for a friendly basketball fixture that provided an excellent opportunity to put their training into practice.
The Panthers responded with confidence, teamwork and determination, producing a disciplined performance to secure an impressive 18–9 victory.
More importantly, the game offered valuable insights into the team’s strengths, with encouraging individual performances and important lessons for future development.

The Panthers demonstrated the importance of collective responsibility, combining disciplined defensive organisation with the confidence to attack.
Throughout the fixture, the squad displayed composure and confidence on court, with players communicating, supporting one another and showing a strong understanding of their individual roles.
One of the most encouraging features of the performance was the team’s effective half-court man-to-man defence. The girls demonstrated discipline and positional awareness, working together to restrict their opponents.
Offensively, the Panthers showed the confidence to take opportunities, attack space and apply the skills developed during their training sessions.
The nine-point winning margin was a rewarding outcome for the team, but it was the collective effort, positive communication and growing belief that made the performance especially encouraging.

Aariana
Aariana delivered an outstanding individual performance, emerging as the team’s highest scorer and earning the Best Player Award.
Her contribution was a highlight of the victory and a wonderful example of the confidence and attacking potential within the Panthers squad.
Inayat
Inayat demonstrated excellent defensive skills and made a strong impact throughout the game.
Her contribution highlighted the value of discipline, defensive responsibility and the importance of making a difference beyond the scoreboard.
Leela
Leela showed encouraging attacking confidence, exploring opportunities to drive towards the basket.
Her willingness to take initiative and embrace an attacking role was another positive sign of the squad’s developing basketball confidence.
