Sports Day Date Year 1 & 2 • 19 Feb

Year 1 & 2 Sports Day

The Year 1 & Year 2 Sports Day is designed to celebrate movement, enjoyment, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment. At this early stage, the focus is on developing confidence, encouraging active participation, and fostering a love for physical activity.

Students will take part in a range of fun, modified track and field events that are carefully adapted to suit their age and developmental level. All activities will be competed within their year groups, allowing children to experience cooperation, encouragement, and shared success.

Sports Day Dates Year 4 • 17 Feb  |  Year 3 • 18 Feb

Year 3 & 4 Sports Day

This is all about introducing them to competition, celebrating the value of sportsmanship, resilience in the face of adversity and success with humility.

All events will be conducted as intra-house events to foster house spirit across the Primary School. The top three students of each gender, in each house, in each event will receive a medal.
To promote the spirit of competition and as we strive for and celebrate excellence, we will continue with a second tier of competition. The top house athlete in each event (gender wise) will then compete in the finals to determine the overall winner.

Sports Day Dates Year 6 • 13 Feb  |  Year 5 • 16 Feb

Year 5 & 6 Sports Day

The Year 5 & Year 6 Sports Day introduces students to a more structured and competitive track and field programme, encouraging them to apply their skills with focus, determination, and resilience.

Students will compete in ALL six events comprising of two running, two jumping, and two throwing disciplines. The top three athletes of each gender in each event will be awarded medals in recognition of their performance and effort.
